Thousands of mourners are expected to gather at the Cal Poly Performing Arts Center and along the first-responder procession route this morning in memory of slain San Luis Obispo Police Det. Luca Benedetti. Following the service, a procession involving local first responders will make its way along Grand Avenue, to Monterey, then north on the 101 before ending at the Paso Robles Cemetary for a private graveside service. The memorial service and procession will be live-streamed online.
