The mysterious monolith the appeared and was taken down by vandals, is back in Atascadero. Atascadero residents Wade McKenzie, Travis Kenney, Randall Kenney and Bay Area resident Jared Riddle said they built the monolith to spread positivity and get people outdoors during the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the Tribune, a second monolith was discovered by campers in the Los Padres National Forest southwest of Pozo.
