A deadly two-car crash on the 101 early yesterday morning took the life of a Cal Poly Student and a Los Osos man. CHP investigators say a 22-year-old woman from Washington was driving the wrong way in the northbound lanes of the 101 when she collided with an oncoming car at around 2:30 a.m… CHP Officials did not release the woman’s name, but Cal Poly Officials confirmed that Nicole Scalone was the wrong way driver. She was just days away from graduation. Investigators have not released the name of the Los Osos man. The investigation is ongoing.
