Two Santa Maria men accused of armed robbery and attempted carjacking are behind bars this morning. San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s investigators say it happened at the Pirates Cove parking lot last night at around 7:30. One of the suspects brandished a firearm when he approached the first victim. The victim drove off and called 911. Another driver was confronted. This time, the suspects almost got away with the victim’s car. Deputies arrested 20-year-old Brayan Arellano and a 17-year-old juvenile. Both are facing numerous charges.
