A major Santa Maria development, decades in the making, took another step closer to becoming a reality. At yesterday’s City Council meeting The Blosser-Southeast Plan passed unanimously and continued to a future meeting for reading and adoption. The plan includes about 1,000 housing units, along with a new junior high school, soccer field, and bike path.
