Following a year of renovations, Russell Park in Santa Maria reopened over the weekend. Renovations to the park include a new playground, restrooms, energy-efficient lighting, water-wise colorful landscaping with an improved irrigation system, and better access for people with disabilities. Funding for the renovations came from several federal agencies.
