Lompoc Police say the man they arrested yesterday for trying to rob Mechanics Bank in Guadalupe is the same person who knocked over the Coast Hills Credit Union on Tuesday. Investigators say19-year-old Maurice Antwion Pilgrim presented a Mechanics Bank teller a note. When the teller didn’t hand over any money, he left. Pilgrim was eventually taken into custody at the main gate at Vandenberg Air Force Base.
