The COVID-19 Death toll rose yesterday with the report of a 16th death in San Luis Obispo County. Officials say the individual was vulnerable to serious COVID-19 illness because they were in their 90s and had underlying health conditions. Adding that they lived at an assisted living facility in Atascadero that is experiencing a coronavirus outbreak. As of Friday, San Luis Obispo County health officials have reported 1,783 cases of COVID-19, most have fully recovered. A new update is expected this afternoon.
