Pismo Beach City officials say a lack of social distancing led to the closing of the Pismo Beach Pier. They made the announcement on the city’s Facebook page yesterday. The beach remains open but only for short walks or surfing, and social distancing will be enforced. parking meters have also been modified to one hour only to help with compliance.
