In an effort to keep Paso Robles Police officers safe and improve transparency, the department will be getting some new equipment in the near future. The Paso Robles City Council approved funding for new portable radios and body cams. The radios will replace current outdated units. Video footage from the body cams will help reduce complaints and reduce the use of unnecessary force while providing improved departmental transparency.
