The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of an inmate that happened over the weekend. At about 6 p.m. Friday, the inmate told a custody deputy that he was not feeling well. The inmate, who was in a wheelchair became unresponsive. Despite life-saving measures, 62-year-old Eduardo Rodriguez would be pronounced dead at 6:41. The investigation is ongoing.
