State Parks Officials say an agreement to reduce air pollution from the Oceano Dunes cannot be fulfilled. That’s according to a recently released report by the Parks Department. An agreement between State Parks and the San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control District called for a 50 percent reduction in particulate matter by 2023. According to the Tribune, Parks officials want to renegotiate the goals. Air Quality officials say they were blindsided by the report, calling it unacceptable.
