San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s investigators are looking into the suspicious death of a woman found in a home near Lake Nacimiento yesterday morning. It all started when CHP officers were called to a disabled vehicle. When officers arrived, they found the driver had apparently abandoned the vehicle, leaving behind two toddlers. 31-year-old Daniel Raul Rodriguez Johnson was able to steal one of the CHP vehicles. Sheriff’s Deputies deployed spike strips in the San Simeon area, ending the pursuit. During a subsequent search of his home, investigators discovered the woman’s body. Johnson’s bail is set at 1 million dollars.
