Santa Maria Emergency First responders were kept busy yesterday with two separate vehicle versus pedestrian incidents. The first call came in just before 7 p.m… Crews arrived on the 300 block of W. Main Street and found a victim suffering from moderate injuries. That person was transported to the hospital for treatment. About 30 minutes later another, a similar incident was reported on the 700 block of East Orange. Fire officials say crews transported another person to the hospital with moderate injuries. Both incidents are currently under investigation.
