As President Joe Biden signed the federal $1.9 trillion economic relief package yesterday, plans were already in place up and down the Central Coast on what to do with the funding. Most of the one time only funding will be used to fill budget gaps created by the pandemic and temporarily hold off future cuts. Some cities have said the funding will be used to keep local small businesses open, improve infrastructures and public safety.
