Assemblyman Jordan Cunningham and a bipartisan group of legislators are pushing to allow youth sports to get back on the fields. Cunningham announced yesterday that he and 32 other lawmakers had sent a letter to Governor Gavin Newsom asking that he allow youth sports to resume. They believe kids can return to the sports they love safely. According to KSBY, similar calls have come from local student-athletes and their parents.
