Millions In Grant Funding To Help Grover Beach
Grover Beach has been awarded a 3.1 million dollar Community Development Block Grant. Officials say $2.6 million will be used to update the city’s water service lines, and add control valves and fire hydrants throughout the city.
Record Numbers For San Luis Obispo County
San Luis Obispo County has reported a record day in the pandemic. 258 new cases of COVID-19. Another single-day case count record. Officials also added the deaths of five more people who tested positive for the virus.
COVID-19 Surges… So Does Testing Requests
As the current surge in COVID-19 cases continues to rise, so does the demand for testing in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties. State-run testing facilities in Goleta and Santa Maria currently don’t have any availability.
