The Oceano Dunes has been closed to vehicles since late March due to COVID-19. A phased reopening plan is set to begin this morning, but not everyone is happy about it. Members of the Dunes Alliance and Oceano Beach Community Association say they have concerns over pollution, erosion, and endangered animals with the vehicles returning. The park will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
