Santa Barbara County Health officials say another person who tested positive for COVID-19 has died. That person was over the age of 70, living in a Santa Maria care facility with underlying health conditions. They also added 20 new cases of COVID-19, for a new total of 9,540 confirmed cases of the virus. San Luis Obispo County added 36 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the county’s total to 3,969.
