The city of San Luis Obispo plans to remove homeless camps along the Bob Jones Trail. The roughly mile and a quarter stretch of trail that runs through San Luis Obispo has been the scene of more than 49 fires in the past 10 months. And according to KSBY, a man’s body was discovered in an encampment that may have been there for weeks. The city plans on clearing out the trail next week following several public safety and environmental concerns, including human waste, trash, and needles.
