Paso Robles Police and the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the death of a man whose body was found near the Salinas River over the weekend. Authorities were called out just after 4 Saturday morning to report the body in the riverbed. When officers arrived, they found 26-year-old Daniel Romo with “obvious signs of death” and retrieved his body. Investigators believe foul play is not a factor in the ongoing investigation.
