San Luis Obispo County tattoo shops, nail salons, and other personal services could open by the end of this week. The announcement came during an update Friday. San Luis Obispo County public health officer Dr. Penny Borenstein said her department is considering whether personal service businesses such as tattoo shops, nail salons, massage therapists and skin care or cosmetology services could soon reopen. In preparation, she said business owners in those industries should begin examining the state’s guidance and implementing the necessary changes.
