Cal Fire SLO says a group of people at Lake Nacimiento went from bystanders to heroes after a woman drove her car into the lake. It Happened yesterday afternoon near Heritage Ranch. The bystanders witnessed the woman’s SUV enter the water, but the driver didn’t come out. Officials say the bystanders swam out to the vehicle and pulled the woman from the car. Cal Fire SLO says the SUV was fully submerged by the time the rescuers were paddling back to shore. Monterey County Park Rangers are investigating.
