Arroyo Grande City Manager Jim Bergman unexpectedly resigned last week. Mayor Caren Ray took to Facebook, addressing Bergmans’ decision to step down. She didn’t elaborate on the resignation but did say that it was a personal decision, adding that nothing terrible that would have caused the city council to take action. Public Works Director Bill Robeson will be Acting City Manager and Community Development Director Whitney McDonald was appointed Deputy Acting City Manager.
