A hit and run accident between a vehicle and pedestrian sent a woman to the hospital with serious injuries. Santa Maria Police say the collision happened last night at around 7 near Broadway and Orchard Streets. The victim was flown to Cottage Hospital. Investigators are currently looking for the suspect and their vehicle which is described only as a black four-door. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Santa Maria Police Department.
