Santa Maria Police are on the lookout for the person or persons responsible for sending two people to the hospital early yesterday morning. Santa Maria Fire officials say they were called out to the area of Thornburg and Jones at around 2:30 A.M… When crews arrived, they found two people suffering severe injuries. One was airlifted to Cottage Hospital with stab wounds. The other suffered head trauma and was taken to Marian Regional Medical Center. The investigation is ongoing.
