As we start to wind down an old year and get ready to ring in a new decade, the CHP wants to remind you that they are getting ready for another Maximum Enforcement Period. It will start at 6:01 tomorrow evening and run through midnight. Officials say they will have 80 percent of staff working New Year’s Eve, looking for impaired drivers. They strongly recommend designating before celebrating.
