The Cave Fire that grew to more than four thousand acres is threatening homes in Santa Barbara. The fire broke out yesterday afternoon and quickly spread thanks to strong winds and dry conditions. Rain expected overnight will help firefighters with containment. Mike Eliason, with the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, said the fire has jumped a highway and is heading for a neighborhood. Firefighters are working to save the homes if possible.
