Gas prices have inched up a bit in the past week. It’s not a huge increase, but the Energy Department reports the price of regular unleaded rose nationwide by about a penny in the past week. Analysts say supply and demand came into play, that gas inventories are down. But not every part of the country has seen prices go up, shockingly California is down 3 cents a gallon in the past week after a recent spike, regular unleaded in California has been over 4 bucks a gallon for weeks.
