Trio Of Quakes Rattle Central Coast

Three separate earthquakes rattled the Central Coast yesterday. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, The first, a 2.0 magnitude quake struck just after 1:30 about four miles south of Orcutt. A second quake was reported just before 10 p.m. roughly two miles south southwest of Lompoc. It was reported to be a 2.7 magnitude. Then, just before 11 last night a 2.5 magnitude quake struck southwest of Avila Beach.
