A man accused of molesting two young girls in 2016 was in court yesterday for sentencing. Matthew Roland Betts was found guilty of six counts of lewd acts on a child and three other charges. He was facing 195-years to life for abusing the 13-year-old daughter of a girlfriend and the 8-year-old daughter of another friend. According to the Tribune, he was sentenced to a term of 25 years to life in prison. He’ll be in his 70’s by the time he’s eligible for parole.
