Today’s the day Templeton residents need to have their special election ballots in on Measure A. Measure A proposes a parcel tax for Templeton property owners that would keep the community’s fire department fully staffed. The parcel tax would amount to 180 dollars a year and go directly to a firefighter fund. If the measure fails, firefighters say response times to emergencies could be affected. Cal Fire would more than likely take over with mutual aid from Atascadero and Paso Robles fire departments. Mail-in Ballots are due today.
