Volunteers are needed for a Serve Santa Maria event that’s happening tomorrow. Organizers say they need between 300 and 500 volunteers for many beautification projects throughout the city. Volunteers can register at the Abel Maldonado Community Youth Center, 600 S. McClelland St., Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m… There will be donuts and juice before volunteers are sent to their projects. The Salvation Army will serve lunch.
