Nearly 5,000 Morro Bay PG&E customers were without power early this morning. Officials say the outage was first reported at around 1 a.m… Morro Bay Firefighters and PG&E crews searched the area trying to find a cause for the outage. They discovered a power pole near Main Street had its breakers tripped, causing the widespread outage. Power was restored to most by about 4:15 this morning.
