A weekend house fire has forced two Atascadero people to look for somewhere else to live. Firefighters were sent to Carrizo Road Saturday evening to a report of a residential fire. When they arrived, the home was fully involved in flames and smoke. Quick work by firefighters kept the flames contained to the residence. no injuries were reported. Investigators say the cause of the fire was discarded smoking materials. The American Red Cross is helping the victims find shelter.
