Video footage from a restaurant shows a piece of raw chicken appear to come back to life and crawl away.
After hoisting itself upwards, the chicken yanks itself off the diner’s plate and onto the floor as someone at the table starts to scream.
The video has already been viewed more than four million times.
People posted comments suggesting the movements were caused by nerve endings that have not yet died.
One person said “usually because the meat is so fresh the muscles can still move” while a second added “it was so fresh that some of the muscles are still firing off signals.”
