The San Luis Obispo Library has teamed up with the non-profit group Shower The People to offer free, hot showers on Sundays. Shower the People runs a mobile shower program for the homeless. The group’s trailer has three private bathrooms that include a sink, a toilet, and a full shower. Hot showers will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 1:30 Sunday afternoon. Organizers say the Sunday shower program will be available through September and maybe longer.
