Templeton residents are being asked to vote on a measure that could ensure they have a fully staffed fire department in the future. The Community Services District will soon be sending out ballots for measure ‘A’. If the measure passes, every household will pay 15 dollars a month to keep the Templeton Fire Department fully staffed. Fire Department officials say if the measure fails, the county would probably turn firefighting duties over to Cal Fire. A mail-in ballot will start showing up in mailboxes by the end of this month.
