Todays the day Strawberry fans have been waiting for. The Santa Maria Valley Strawberry Festival kicks off today. The Festival will showcase local talent, and offer a wide variety of unique and interesting things to do and see. With your paid admission enjoy a variety of FREE attractions, including a petting zoo for the kids. Santa Maria Fairgrounds officials say it’s all about the strawberries. You will find Fun Fair Foods with a strawberry kick! including deep fried strawberries, chocolate dipped strawberries, strawberry pizza, strawberry tamales, and strawberry corn dogs. The Santa Maria Strawberry festival runs through Sunday.
