A former Lucia Mar Unified School District bus driver was sentenced yesterday for molesting a 9-year-old girl on his route. 50-year-old David Lamb entered a plea deal in February and pleaded no contest to two felony counts of committing lewd acts on a child. Two other felony charges were dropped as part of the agreement and Lamb dodged a possible life sentence. Instead, he was sentenced to 16 years in state prison.
