Firefighters made quick work of a garage fire early yesterday morning. Five Cities Fire Authority received a call about a structure fire on Baden Avenue in Grover beach just before 3:30 a.m… When crews arrived they found a garage involved in flames. The blaze was threatening two residential units above it. The residents were evacuated and firefighters were able to keep the flames contained to the garage area. No injuries were reported. The cause is currently under investigation.
