How to House San Luis Obispo County’s homeless population has been an ongoing debate. One concept was the topic of discussion last night in Arroyo Grande. Officials with the Five Cities Homeless Coalition held an informational meeting about using the Hillside Church in Grover Beach as a facility to help the homeless in the Five Cities area. Officials say, their goal would be to use the church as housing and housing navigation, targeting young people between 18 and 24 with a structured program. Another community meeting is scheduled for this Sunday starting at 3 p.m. at the Ramona Park Garden Center.
