The CHP is looking for a man they believe was involved in a hit and run accident in Atascadero yesterday morning. The crash happened when a driver was exiting the Northbound 101 At Traffic Way. He was sideswiped by a Ford F150. The victim’s vehicle careened off the off-ramp and into Denny’s parking lot. Investigators say the driver of the F150 removed all the vehicle’s paperwork but left behind his i.d. and laptop. Anyone who knows the whereabouts of 39-year-old Richard Lawrence Gonzalez is asked to contact the CHP.
