The Cal Poly’s Varsity Track team has been suspended following school hazing violations. Officials say an investigation found some senior team members engaged in the hazing of newer members. According to the Tribune, the hazing involved “unsafe and inappropriate behavior,” including underage drinking, forced exercising, and a scavenger hunt that included sexually explicit items. The university’s anti-hazing policy has resulted in the suspension of at least two fraternities this school year.
