A bicyclist from Grover Beach was killed after being hit by a car yesterday in Arroyo Grande. It happened at around 2:22 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Highway 101 south of N. Halcyon Road. CHP investigators say the 39-year-old man was trying to cross the southbound lanes of the highway when he was hit by an oncoming car. Early yesterday morning, a homeless pedestrian was hit and killed in the northbound lanes of the 101 in San Luis Obispo.
