A fourth inmate at Lompoc Federal Prison has died after testing positive for COVID-19. The Federal Bureau of Prisons made the announcement yesterday. There have been three other novel coronavirus-related deaths at the complex. 971 cases of confirmed COVID-19 are at the federal prison. Santa Barbara County health officials added another 20 cases since Friday, bringing the county’s total to 698 cases in the community.
