Santa Barbara County Health officials announced yesterday that 28 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. Health Officer Dr. Henning Ansorg said 16 patients were now in ICU and seven more were hospitalized. As of yesterday, Santa Barbara County had a total of 139 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Meanwhile, San Luis Obispo County had six new cases confirmed, bringing the total number to 89. Health officer Dr. Penny Borenstein said 15 of the 89 are healthcare workers.
