A Santa Maria teen is in the hospital and another was arrested yesterday following a stabbing incident. Police say officers were called out to a report of a fight on West Carmen Lane at around 2 p.m… One of the people involved in the fight was reported to have a firearm. When officers arrived, they found a vehicle associated with the incident. Two people inside the vehicle were detained. One was air-lifted to Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara. The other was taken into custody on suspicion of numerous firearms violations. Anyone with helpful information about this ongoing investigation is asked to contact the Santa Maria Police Department
