This week’s featured Pet Pal is Jax, a 6-year-old Springer Spaniel/Pit Bull mix who has called WHS home since March. Jax was brought to WHS by his previous owner who was originally fostering him. Jax is neutered, current on vaccinations and micro chipped. A mellow dog—Jax is a great indoor/outdoor dog who can be left alone for 6+ hours without getting himself into trouble. He is gentle, plays well with other dogs, walks well on and off lead (his previous owner states that he LOVES Walks). Jax is most likely house trained and likes to entertain himself by chewing on bones. He is very sweet, likes to give “kisses”, and loves to get attention and pets. If anything, Jax is a sensitive “old soul” and emotional which means his perfect match would be someone who would not use a heavy handed training method. Jax’s previous owner has left contact information should anyone wish to learn more about this great, unique looking dog. Stop by Woods Humane Society and spend some time getting to know Jax! Due to his unique mix, he is definitely an eye catcher and conversation starter.
