This week’s featured Pet Pal is Bandit, a 5-year-old tan & white Boxer/Cattle Dog mix who has called WHS home since January. Bandit joined our shelter’s adoption program when his previous owner passed away. Bandit is neutered, current on vaccinations, micro chipped, house trained, leash trained, off-leash trained, crate trained, and loves to stand on his hind legs and dance. Bandit is also a professional cat groomer and loves to lick them. He has spent time with young children and loves to play (previous caretaker states that he never tires of children-high tolerance level). Gentle, cat friendly, fully trained, and social—Bandit is a well rounded dog with great confidence. He would do well in a family with respectful kids and other dogs—oddly cat friendly as well. He absolutely LOVES humans and interacting with anyone who is interested. He also likes to play fetch, chase, and running (a great jogging partner). Bandit does well by himself and would prefer to be an indoor/outdoor dog (this is a Family Dog). If you are looking for a low maintenance companion who is social, friendly, and easy to live with—stop by Woods Humane Society and spend some time with Bandit. Oh and check out Bandit’s GORGEOUS blue eyes!
